The ability to learn to read, and learning in general through courses, workshops, etc, shows sometimes very complicated and tortuous as if it is true that reading a language with many words that combine in an irregular manner is NOT an easy task, compared to other human abilities such as walking upright on two legs or speak and understand language, usually before age 2 years old, show the ability of the human brain and how easy it would be to learn to read.
Why then do us a hard time learning to read? again comparing this ability with the above (walk, talk and interpret a language) shows several differences:
Time: learning to read at the age of about six years, wasting the time we have more capacity for learning. Because adults underestimate children's abilities. People who are fluent in a language they do because they learned in their first years of life. When learning a language in adulthood, usually not achieved perfectly, without getting the correct accent and intonation.
Frequency: We listen and try to talk and walk the first day of our lives. Contact with the written language is foreign to us until we are able to appreciate the tiny letters of the standard texts, the same thing happen with spoken language if the adults we talked all the time quietly. (Not perceptible to the ear in training of a child)

Form: Every achievement we get more insignificant is admired and appreciated, almost never correct (NOT the way a child is corrected when learning to read). Sooner or later all caught up to do so because we know we can do better every day, without what we say. We are passionate about doing well and fast
Knowing how to read not only a matter is a human brain's ability and like all skills depend more on the way we perceive, that of their own capabilities, since it is scientifically proven that no human has ever exploited or even 1 / 1000 of its capabilities. This is not an idea is the percentage of neurons that are interconnected in SYNAPSE, compared with the billions of neurons that produce, and dying after not being used in interconnections.
